These Terms of Service govern your use of the ComfortClimate website and the heating, cooling, indoor air quality, and related services provided by ComfortClimate HVAC. By booking a service or using this website, you agree to these terms.
Our Services
We provide residential and commercial HVAC services, including furnace, boiler, air conditioner, and heat pump repair, installation, and replacement; ductwork and indoor air quality solutions; maintenance plans; and 24/7 emergency response. All work is performed by licensed, insured technicians in accordance with applicable codes and manufacturer guidelines.
Appointments & Access
- Appointment times are arrival windows. We will notify you if a technician is running late.
- An adult (18+) must be present and provide safe access to the indoor and outdoor equipment, attic or crawlspace units, thermostat, and electrical panel.
- Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Repeated no-shows may incur a trip fee.
Emergency Calls
Emergency service outside regular business hours may carry an after-hours rate, which we will confirm before dispatching. Our first priority on any emergency call is to make the system safe. If you smell gas or suspect carbon monoxide, leave the property immediately and call 911 and your gas utility before calling us.
Quotes & Payment
We provide upfront, written pricing before any work begins. If we discover additional problems, we will stop and get your approval before doing extra work. Payment is due when the job is complete unless a separate financing or commercial agreement says otherwise. We accept major credit cards, debit, and checks. Financing is offered through third-party lenders and is subject to credit approval.
Maintenance Plans
Comfort Club memberships renew annually unless cancelled. Member benefits, including scheduled inspections, priority scheduling, and repair discounts, apply only while the membership is active and do not cover the cost of parts or equipment replacement unless stated in your plan agreement.
Warranty
Our workmanship is guaranteed as described on our Warranty Info page. Parts and equipment are covered by their manufacturers' warranties, which we will help you register. Warranties do not cover damage from misuse, lack of required maintenance, alterations by others, power surges, flooding, or normal wear.
Permits & Code
Where work requires a permit, we will pull it and schedule the inspection; permit fees are listed on your quote. If we find existing conditions that are unsafe or do not meet code, such as improper venting, gas leaks, or damaged heat exchangers, we will explain the issue and may be unable to operate the equipment until it is corrected.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, hidden damage inside walls, ceilings, or ductwork, mold resulting from prior moisture problems, or indirect and consequential losses.
Website Use
Content on this website is provided for general information only and is not a substitute for an on-site inspection. Do not attempt gas, refrigerant, or electrical work yourself. You agree not to misuse the website or submit false information through our forms. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.
